Pavements too narrow and cars parked. Remove car parking and introduce one way system. This will also reduce pollution.

Cars parked in road and pavement too narrow.

Footpath and cycleway needed to access the retail park from Oteley Road. Many pedestrians and cyclists short-cut across the grass, which becomes very muddy in autumn/winter. The opportunity to fix this was missed in redevelopment of the Meo ... [more]

Hedge seriously overgrown. Pavement could be widened by tarmacing grassy verge to allow SD2m

Hedge seriously overgrown 2mSD not possible

Pavement not wide enough and ita runs out on one side by the pub. No crossing facility either

There is an very good farm shop to the north of Leebotwood however the pavement runs out approximately 1/4 mile before the shop. The verge is wide enough to accommodate a footway so please prioritise these works.

Needs pedestrian crossing

A pavement/combined pavement and cyclepath between Sundorne and Haughmond Hill would create a much safer means of travel for recreation. Haughmond Hill, Haughmond Abbey and surrounding countryside offer great opportunities for people to be ... [more]

A second footbridge needed to prevent congestion. Long term a very wide bridge with cycling along the middle

Pig Trough alley is 1.2m wide long alley with high walls. A one way route to Flash Gardens would enable social distancing to be maintained.

Steps prevent pushchair and mobility aided access to town from castlefields. Shared path needed through castle grounds

Only one narrow pavement along busy A road

Very narrow pavement, pedestrian route to the river for children and dog walkers, two way traffic when the road is too narrow to take it and a blind bend. Cars go too fast too.

Footpath far too narrow two people cannot pass without stepping into the carriageway Solution make Kingsland Road from Luciefeld Road to Longden Road one way and widen footway

Remove on street parking to enable wider pavements for social distancing

Ensure regular maintenance & clearing of footway. Accumulated debris & vegetation makes footway unsafe given frequency, speed and proximity of traffic (particularly HGV)

Footpath needed to access train station Im shifnal

Lack of safe crossing point on Copthorne Road. Need more pelican crossings.

By cutting back the hedgerow!

Barrier on footpath prevents wheelchairs etc.

We are very happy the council will be making a cycle lane and one way traffic here, but we want to be assured of pavement modifications too! Very narrow pavement! Thank you 😊

Cycles come along too quickly and endanger pedestrians. Need all pavements to be pedestrian only and separate lane for bikes as in Cambridge

Sideways slope is too steep for trikes, pushchairs, prams and wheelchairs

Narrow pavement which is busy with pupils walking to Coleham school. Needs to be widened, space could be freed up by making the road one way

Need a pavement

The cycle path ends here and the pavement narrows considerably. Cars are meant to slow from 60 to 30mph,but often do not. Lorries use this route as a thoroughfare to get to Ellesmere. Children wanting to walk or cycle to Whittington school ... [more]

There is no pavement from this point for 200 metres. It is dangerous for children as there are regularly cars breaking the speed limit due to inadequate traffic calming measures.

No pavement. Limits walking access to RJAH orthopaedic hospital

Change church Street into one lane one way system. Widen pavements to enable social distancing while walking

Pavement either side of road too narrow, suggest reducing road to single lane and widen both pavements, maybe restrict general through traffic To specific times and only allow emergency services, buses, taxis, disabled users, Etc

Pavements too narrow on both sides, parking areas could be converted to pedestrian spaces, road closed / delivery access only

Pavement very narrow, no room for queuing for access to shops and general pedestrian movement maybe the loading bays/bus stop pull in could be allocated for temporary pavements or road closed to general traffic to allow pedestrians to spill ... [more]

Pavement very narrow, maybe a pavement on one side could be uphill, pavement on the other side could be downhill

Barriers needed so that children can walk and cycle safely without people being worried about the river

Pavement too narrow, and there is only a pavement on one side of the road

Pavement too narrow

This footbridge has a fairly big No Vehicles, Cyclists Dismount sign just out of shot to the left, and there are steps at the far end.

Another terrible design of footbridge. Imagine trying to get a pushchair across this bridge let alone moblity scooters and wheelchairs. The cynic inside me thinks that it was designed like this particularly to deter cycling.
