This short but often busy stretch of A49 between turnoffs to Leebotwood Church and to Cardington, is an unavoidable but necessary link for cyclists between quieter lanes. A little-used pavement runs along the east side, and could provide a ... [more]
The cycle 'lane' on the side of London Rd is lethal. Making London Rd one way into town and Wenlock Rd one way out of town would allow space for dedicated cycle lanes on both roads
There was at one time a proposal to allow cycle access to the station through this development, which was never implemented. Now would be a good time to resurrect it!
Safety at this junction would be immediately improved by putting the pedestrian lights on a timer, enabling traffic from both sides of Upper Road to exit safely even when there are no pedestrians.
The by-pass is busy and very fast due to two lanes on the uphill direction. Cycle lane desperately required.
Road here is very busy and dangerous for cyclists. This road should be closed to traffic making vehicles use the by-pass
A much used off road cycleway from Minsterley ends here and cyclists have to cross the A488 near where the 30MPH limit starts for Pontesbury. Cars are mostly much faster than that here. There is a good wide footway past Ashford drive which ... [more]
The cycleway/footway along the A5112 needs maintenance. Cutting back vegetation and repairing the surface.
Signage to show where access to " old canal cycle path" is, down private Pimley Lane. This could avoid dangerous crossing of A49 further down Sundorne Road.
Major Shropshire tourist location, YET a 40mph speed limit on a narrow road with car parking alongside is dangerous should be 30mph maximum
Part of B5068 is on the National cycle route. A national speed limit on this section is NOT appropriate
Pavement needs to be widened slightly to accommodate both pedestrians and cyclists in safety. I cycle every day up this hill and I always have to dismount and get right into the kerb way when big Lorries approach and the many tractors that ... [more]
Install a cycleway linking the Marshbrook turning to the Acton Scott turning approx 100m south to enable cyclists to traverse the A49 safely as the current road design is extremely dangerous.

Existing refuge to be upgraded to a pedestrian crossing with Belisha beacons. A key cycle route between Sundorne and town.
This section of old canal path to Telford Way needs widening and should be given a smooth surface (tarmac or smooth aggregate). Solar lighting would be good for winter commuting from Sundorne.
Cambria Avenue is a rat run, but also a vital walking/cycling route to two schools. By closing it to traffic here, the roads will be safer, whilst not removing anyone's vehicle access.
An existing tunnel under the A5 connecting council-owned land on either side could be a much-needed safe crossing place.
Belle Vue road and Longden road should be made one way to allow for pavement widening and cycle lanes
Road very narrow here. A squeeze for 2 cars so dangerous for cyclists. Need traffic calming to reduce speed of cars and make it safer for cyclists.
Existing footway converted & widened where necessary to shared footway/cycleway to give protection from hostile traffic environment of A41. With commensurate reduction in speed limit to <50mph along this section of road.
This is a main route for NHS workers to get to Royal Shrewsbury, a cycle path will help doctors and nurses to cycle to work and avoid paying the horrible parking fees.
Improve cycle access from the Quarry and Welsh Bridge to the cycle parking areas around Bellstone and the Market Hall. Current junction is dangerous for cyclists.
As the main route to and from Royal Shrewsbury hospital a safe cycle way is essential. This would also provide a link onto NCN81 and the new route into town. A 20mph speed limit would also help.
The cyclepath abruptly ends and cyclists are expected to cross the road and ride on the main roadway through the village (scary), or cycle on the path (illegal)
Remove barriers at either end of the bridge to allow a free flow of pedestrians and cyclists (bunching stops social distancing)

Usually cars parked down one side of the street. Traffic both ways squeezing through, dangerous for cyclists. Not room on pavement to extend. Could do with being one way toad between Mount Service Station and Frankwell Island.

Disused railway line. Convert to segregated cycleway to Gobowen. Improves access to train station and becomes a more direct route.
No cycle lanes over the English Bridge. The are 3 traffic lanes, and one could be reallocated to cycles
Shared path should be a footpath only. One of the 3 traffic lanes should be reallocated for use by cycles
