By closing to vehicles (except buses), here, Barker St and Castle St, the entire centre of Shrewsbury becomes a dead end to motorists. Residents and deliveries have to arrive and leave via Wyle Cop.
Cambria Avenue is a rat run as well as being a well-used route to school for two schools. Blocking the road to vehicles at this point will stop through traffic without removing anyone's vehicle access.
